Celebrate Independence Day on the Bay at Newport Dunes! Bring out the red, white, and blue for the 4th of July with live entertainment, food trucks, beach bars, activities, and a spectacular firework show co-sponsored by the City of Newport Beach.

It will be a day and evening full of family-friendly fun. Gates open at 8:00 am. Free entry and open to the public.

The festive day will include:

Fireworks show co-sponsored by the City of Newport Beach – 9:00 pm
Live entertainment at the Horseshoe Stage featuring DJ yo-b1 – 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – The Dreamboats (good ol’ rock ‘n roll) – 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Food Trucks and Full Bars – 12:00 pm to 7:30 pm – Food trucks include Salt and Pepper, Italian Burger, West Coast Hibachi, El Mas Chingon, Los Compadres, Sabroso Mobile Kitchen, Philly King, Kiki’s Cuban and Kettle Corn King and Shaved Ice
The Inflatable Water Park – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (may close early to prepare for firework show)
Water Sports Rentals – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (may close early to prepare for firework show)
Moe B’s Munchies – 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

We are excited the talented Dreamboats band will be returning to celebrate July 4th! The Dreamboats are bringing back good ol’ rock n’ roll. With a sound that is equal to Chuck Berry & The Wonders, this quartet of Canadian boys delivers a high-energy show with audiences dancing the night away! Performing 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Horseshoe, between Pavilion C and the Gazebo.

Before the Dreamboats show, come dance to hip-hop, funk, R&B, and more beats from DJ yo-b1 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Pssstt….Newport Dunes is hosting live entertainment all holiday weekend long with our Tunes at the Dunes summer series! We’ll have food trucks, beach bars, bands and DJ’s on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from 12 pm – 8 pm. Learn more details about our Tunes at the Dunes series by clicking here.

Parking

$50 day-of parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in our West Parking Lot. Please enter at N. Bayside Drive and Pacific Coast Highway. Please note, this parking is in a further, unpaved lot and is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach.

$100 pre-paid, reserved parking is SOLD OUT.

Important Notice about Illegal Fireworks And Portable Grills

Help keep Newport Beach and our beaches safe and clean. Illegal fireworks, glass containers, and portable BBQs & grills of any kind on the grass or beach are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
