Newport Beach, CA (April 17, 2024) – Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort has announced the summer launch of its largest Inflatable Aquatic Park yet, along with the Tunes at the Dunes live entertainment series. The summer fun continues with outdoor movie screenings and a variety of family-friendly outdoor activities, all starting on Memorial Day weekend, May 24th to May 26th, 2024.

Make a Splash at the Inflatable Aquatic Park
Unleash your inner thrill-seeker at Newport Dunes’ recently enhanced Inflatable Aquatic Park, with the addition of four new inflatables. Explore a collection of more than 20 oversized inflatables, including a 17-foot slide, a floating trampoline, jungle gym, monkey bars, bouncers, and slides. Fun for all ages, the inflatables are for adults and children older than five years. The Inflatable Aquatic Park will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. during the holiday weekend and daily through Labor Day weekend. Admission is $15 for resort guests and $20 for park visitors. Inflatable Aquatic Park reservations can be booked in person or online by visiting Newport Dunes’ online booking system.
Groove to Live Music at Tunes at the Dunes
Plan a day of fun in the sun and get your groove on at Tunes at the Dunes. This year’s series starts with a classic soul and blues performance by Family Style Bandon Friday, May 24. On Saturday, May 25, rock out to the iconic sounds of ShowBiz Guys performing classic rock hits. Then, on Sunday, May 26, immerse yourself in the captivating surf reggae tunes brought to you by Cali Conscious, with an opening act by recent contestant on NBC’s The Voice, Kyle Schuesler. Indulge in delectable bites from local food trucks and sip on refreshing beverages from the full bar while enjoying the bay views. Admission to enjoy the beach and live entertainment is free and open to the public. Parking is available for $35 per car on holiday weekends, and gates open at 8 a.m. Tunes at the Dunes will continue on holiday weekends throughout the summer, including 4th of July and Labor Day weekends. Daytime Adventures and VIP Amenities
Explore Newport’s Back Bay during the day with activities including single and double-kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pedal boats, and 21-foot electric Duffy boats. Water sports summer rental hours are from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily beginning May 24. Water sports reservations can be booked by visiting Newport Dunes’ online booking system. Walk-up reservations are also available.
For those seeking a VIP experience, Newport Dunes offers private beach cabana rentals for the ultimate comfort. Overnight guests can also relax in poolside cabanas at the pool complex while enjoying the heated pools and spas. Movies on the Beach
Experience the magic of outdoor cinema with Movies on the Beach at Newport Dunes. Gather your loved ones, grab your blankets and chairs to settle in for a cozy evening under the stars. Enjoy a showing of Luca (2021) rated PG on Friday, May 24, and Captain Marvel (2019) rated PG-13 on Saturday, May 25. Enjoy complimentary screenings of family-friendly films every Friday and Saturday night at dusk throughout the summer. Admission is free and parking rates apply.
Moe B’s Munchies
Newport Dunes’ walk-up bar and grill, Moe B’s Munchies, will also be open Memorial Day weekend, serving a menu of American favorites including hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, and salads along with snacks, beer, wine and signature cocktails. Sip on cold beverages at the scenic beach bar, dine on the beachfront patio, or take food to-go to relax with a serene picnic on the beach. Starting Wednesday, May 22, Moe B’s Munchies summer hours are Wednesdays through Thursdays from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Moe B’s Munchies will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27.

Experience waterfront RV and tent camping sites and cozy beach cottages for the ultimate summer glamping getaway.
