Lighting of the Bay Opening Night

Join Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort and Marina on Friday, November 25th, as we celebrate the 32nd Annual Lighting of the Bay! Enjoy family activities, performances, festive concessions, Christmas tree lot, and photos with Santa. Kick off the season around the beach campfire and immerse yourself in the holiday spirit. Bring your own beach chairs and blankets to comfortably enjoy the lights and movie!

Santa will inaugurate Lighting of the Bay at 6:00 pm. Activities and performances will be from 4:00 pm to approximately 9:00 pm.

Located at Pavilion C. Parking is flat $10 fee. 

Schedule of Activities:

Holiday Food Concessions & Bar available for purchase 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Clam chowder, chili, hot dogs, and churros. Festive drinks and a full bar.

Photo Booth: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Stocking Decorating: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (or until supplies last).

South California Holiday Brass 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

OC Song & Dance: 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Santa’s Arrival & Lighting: 6:00 pm

Photo Op with Santa: 6:15 pm – 8:30 pm

Movie on the Beach, Elf (PG): 6:30 pm (We encourage everyone to bring blankets and chairs!)

While you are here, stop by Newport Dunes’ Christmas Tree Lot to pick out your tree! We offer Noble, Nordmann, Natural and Douglas fresh & fragrant trees straight from Salem, Oregon! The tree lot will be open 10:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. Closed Thanksgiving Day.
